Hi

You should make a backup, or install new LMS into separate directory :)

As i think You can just download the oldest version of Smarty(you can find propper version num inside of your old lms index.php) and simple replace the files.

You can comment https://github.com/lmsgit/lms/blob/master/index.php#L114 this line to quick resolve problem with templates in v18 of LMS.

Okay, sorry for all the mails. I'll try to mail you only when running into a 'wall'...

You can ignore my last mail with "Another question". My first question still remains; How do I downgrade smarty to enable LMS 1.11.11 again?

Another question;

As said in previoud mail I want to revert to older LMS because I couldn't get LMS 1.11.18 to work. Everything seems okay, but loading the pages doesn't work. I get the LMS menu in the left, but no page shows when clicking on Info, Customer List or any other page from the menu, I get just an empty page.

I get no MySQL errors in the logs and no Apache2 errors! Does anybody know what's going on? Where should I look or start troubleshooting this?

Thanks again.

Jelle

Hi,

I was testing out LMS1.11.18 but I couldn't get everything to work immediately. I wanted to downgrade back to my old LMS installation (lms1.11.13) but that didn't work.
Of course the old database was still intact and my LMS installation was backup up.

The problem is that with the upgrade I had to run smarty_install.sh, but that doesn't work well with the old LMS version. I get the message "Old Smarty version detected..." Can somebody help me how to revert back to the older Smarty version (I think I need 2.6.0+ or something). Can I revert the smarty_install.sh script?

Thanks.

Best,
Jelle
